Thanks Ron and Mary for replying. I was born in Martin County, but left there in 1954. I used to drive from Inez to Paintsville every day while attending Mayo Vocational. But , had Thelma confused with Offutt. The George's Creek where my Preston and Borders ancestors lived was on down the river in Lawrence County. Mary, I have not figured out the connection between my L.P.A. Preston and the one buried at Thelma. He most likely is in my data by just one of his three names. Any clues from anyone would be most welcome. Thanks to all.
