Candy, Per our telephone conversation yesterday, I am forwarding my check today for both CDs. If you have not yet sent me the money, please let me know what day you are sending it, so I can reserve a copy for you. I can put the total on my credit card as long as I know the "check is in the mail". Anyone else that wants in, let me know immediately. Anyone who misses this opportunity will be able to purchase directly from S K Publications after the CDs are printed. Ann, I must have gotten to excited. I scrolled down your mail and found the address. Sorry. Going to take a look now. Judy
Hello Ann, How do I get in touch with them and do they have any more books to offer? Does Johnson Co. have a home page or the society? I would like to order them today. Judy

The estimated cost was $210.00 + an additional $25 for the 5 additional CDs. That leaves us each paying 23.50 rather than 17.50. Is this ok or should we wait for more to join? 1920: We only have seven... the cost of that CD was estimated at $350.00 + 2 additional CDs=$360.00. That takes the price up to about $52.00. That's too much for me. What about everyone else? Should I return your checks or are more people going to participate? >> I want to participate for both 1900 and 1920 census.... please tell me where to send the check and the total amount you need. Thanks, Sherri
I was wondering if anyone can help me find out how I can order some books on Johnson Co. I am looking for Cemetery records, census records, vitals and so on. Thank you, Judy
I've been out of town and want to be added to the list! Someone please send info immediately about cost and the address to send it to. Thanks, Sherri Hale
Family cemeteries are usually maintained by a family member. If it is a smaller private cemetery, generally no records are kept. If it is a larger cemetery, there should be an office on site. Ann
Faith, I included you in the volunteers I mentioned! I know I can always count on you, friend!!! Ann
Candy I want to participate in the 1920 census also. And as Sassyman said maybe we can get enough to bring the cost down. If not and I need to send more just let me know. Candy, I would like to get the 1900 information as soon as possible. Please email me at dustoff@erinet.com if I can help to expedite the order. I hope I don't sound pushy but my mother is 82 and is very interested in getting this information because she believes there may be mention of her father's father. She isn't sure what his name was (her father's name was Powell Roscoe Salyer from Oil Springs) nor does she know anything about him. So, If I can help out please let me know. I'll send you a check with the additional money as soon as you say the word. Thanks for your efforts, Dan Candy Parent wrote: > The decision can be made as soon as everyone wants. I think this is going to be good Bud. I belong to Genealogy.com and find it a great service and growing. Ancestry.com is by far the leader but Genealogy.com is catching up. Between the two services we who research our families will be the winner. I subscribe to all the online services..$$ but find them very worth while. They really help me to focus my real-time research when visiting a geographic area or library. Hi Candy, Whatever the outcome, it's alright with me. I would like to have both as soon as possible, but.........hopefully, a few more people will decide they want the 1920 CD soon. Ann, As i have said before, i would be happy to make a trip to Johnson Co. to help with the cleanup. Just let me know when you are thinking of doing it. I'd be more than happy to bring along rakes weed eaters or whatever else you may need. Faith
I have enough to go ahead and place the order for the 1900 census today. Two or three others are sending checks today, so it should be a little bit less than the quote. I can order 15 copies. The decision can be made as soon as everyone wants. If you'd like, we can wait until after Christmas (or you could put it on your wish list). It will take 2-3 months to get the census once we order. If we feel we will definitely have enough, I can go ahead and order the 1900 and then you can mail me the money. It's entirely up to what everyone else wants... Jim: Thanks for responding. I haven't tried Ancestry.com or Genealogy.com yet. If I ever get caught up, perhaps I will. Are they expensive? Guess I could look into them and find out instead of asking. Bud
