Judy, I am sorry, checked the 1880, 1900, 1910 and 1920 and couldn't find your Linzie or anything that sounded like that. 1900 Johnson Co. Would anyone have the 1900 or 1910 Johnson County Census and could do a lookup up for me? I have been trying to find my Greatgrandfather. His name is Linzie Griffith. I now believe he was born about late 1890's. I do not know his parents but he had a brother named Eli, but I don't know if he was younger or older than my Linzie. Thank you very much. I really appreciate any help I can get. Judy
The url is correct, several people have commented on the page. BUT (the rest of the story): my yahoo mail included the ";" in the "clickable" part so that is probably what's wrong. It is: http://www.geocities.com/ebasr/patriots.html hopefully that will work. Best wishes, Earl ===== Earl B. History of Kentucky by William Elsey Connelley, edited by Judge Charles Kerr, copyright 1922 by The American Historical Society. This is a 5 volume set that contains much on the history of the state and it has many, many biographies in it. Some of these I would like to put on the kygenweb biographies BUT I don't know what the copyright laws on something like this would be. Is there a way to find out? Thanks, Marilee
Went to your patriots website and Geocities couldn't find it. Are you sure you typed the URL correctly? SassyMan

Sincerely, William K. Macdonald, Deputy Galveston County Sheriff's Department Judy Roder frequented the AOL Fab 50's chat rooms. Her husband passed away in April, and like most of us, enjoyed her newfound friends on AOL. She met a "real nice gentlemen" in the Fab 50 room and made plans to meet him. She was thrilled. The unfortunate thing is she told him her phone number, where she lived, you name it. Now a really nice lady is gone because of some idiotic murderer here online who portrayed himself as a wonderful person. Please always remember, you really do not know who you are talking to on here. You may think you're talking to a female and it's a man, etc. You never know. Judy thought she had met a knight in shining armor, and he stabbed her 30 times after raping her. Please be very very careful what personal information you give out to others....and never give out your home address.

Good idea! I grew up in Paintsville, and entered the Navy after graduation. I was Naval Aviation Electronics Technician 1954-56. Stationed at Naval Air Station, Kingsville, TX. Boot camp was Bainbridge, MD, then Jacksonville, FL for Airman School, and Millington, TN for Aviation Electronics. Afterward, spent 30 years in Electronics Industry (Lockheed, Sylvania, Motorola, etc.) I am certainly proud of my service and highly recommend it to today's youth.
