Ann, That sound like a really great idea but I know my chances of being able to get there would be nil. I sure wish I could though. That is a very interesting article. Too bad every county in the US doesn't do something like that. So since they don't, groups like this mailing list should get it done. Anyone out there miss Ann's call for help in the Johnson County Cemetery Cleanup project? If you missed it, contact her. Bud

Here is the link for the cemetery restoration and tombstone story. Sorry about that! <A HREF="http://starnews.com/extra/features/99/dec/1207st_cemetery.html">StarNews .com : Resurrecting cemeteries</A> Wendy
Dear Johnson Co., KY List, This story isn't about Johnson County or Kentucky but it is a story of cemetery and tombstone restoration. I thought it might be interesting to you. Wendy
And you can pick me up in Chillicothe, on your way down 23! Tina Dills tdills@bright.net
Shannon: You've been very nice here on this list, and I think I'd like your sister, too, if she has that much resemblance to my great grandmother. Of course, I didn't know my great grandmother. She might have been a hateful, unlikeable person, but I don't think so from the way some of her kids talked about her. I guess some traits do get inherited, hmmm? Bud
Hi Candy, I live in Clark County. And this afternoon it has been hailing, cold, rainy, damp and just plain miserable. And there is a chance of snow tonight. This pretty much describes a typical Ohio winter. Except I forgot to mention bone chilling. I would much rather be somewhere in the sunny south. Hello everyone. Here is my Home Place www.angelfire.com/fl3/barbiej Your welcome to drop by but be aware that I am still working on it. Ann, thanks for the lovely card. Barbara Johnson Williston, FL
HOW ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks and Happy Holidays!! SHANNON
I'm going down in May. Can you wait for me? LOL ...Karen Karen Ammon Franklin, WI
My 16 year old sister wears size 12 and 13 shoes. I have always called her sasquash. She'll be interested to know that she gets it from the LEMASTERS side. SHANNON
Ohhhhhhhhhhh! I understand now. I sure wish I had that gene!! I am 5' 2" ; my tippy-toes get alot of wear and tear!! Thanks Faith, SHANNON
Sounds good to me. Living in Oklahoma, don't know if I could make it, but would try. Would be good if those who couldn't attend would send a print out of their Johnson County ties with possibly a short family history story. Bud Caudle
Ann: At least you don't have to ask someone to get things out of the cabinet for you. My wife is a fraction under 5 feet tall. So don't be offering to give away any of your height. My wife even has to cut shorter clothing that she buys in short sizes. Bud
Ann, That sounds like a SUPER idea. Just let me know where and when. I live in Northern Virginia, but would love to come! Julie Van Hoose Hussain
Shannon: Does she also get he looks from the Lemasters. I'm very proud of my great grandmother Lucinda Lemasters Caudle/Cordial. You can see a picture of her at http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/m/o/o/Robert-Eugene-Moore/index.html This is the one that wore the size 12 shoes. Bud Caudle.
