We have had a lot come into the Historical Society. We will put all these up on our Web-Page when it is up and running. We would like some one to start collecting old photographs of early people of Jessamine County. I think it would be best if we had one person responsible for this project. Enyone who has old family photos could scann them and send them to this person. I think it would be a lot of fun. You probably already know this. If you are scanning a picture, less say the size of a postcard. Scann it in at a 300 dpi. If the photo is the size of a sheet of paper, or a 8X10, scann it in at at 100 dpi. If you do this you can make a one to one copy. If you scann at a much higher dpi, you can't send it over the phone line. It takes to long.
