The Ricketts connection is that Steve's Grandfather Earle Benjamin Poole's Grandmother on his mother's side was a Ricketts - Laura Virginia Ricketts of Marchant and Maria Ricketts of Derwood Maryland. The Poole's came to the US in the 1600's (don't have an absolute date yet). Richard was "exiled" or ??? Will pull my records after the Christmas holidays and will respond with the sketchy details I can share. Would not say I see an immediate connection - (but!!!) I would not rule it out either!
