    1. BLAKEMAN REUNION
    2. D McMillen
    3. A BLAKEMAN reunion is to be held 2 October 2004 in the Memorial Building at the American Legion Park in Greensburg, Ky. The time is 10:00 am until 3:00 p.m., Central Standard Time. We plan to have lunch around 12:00 noon, and ask each person attending to bring a brown bag lunch and their own beverage. (No alcoholic beverages please.) Tables and chairs are furnished. Our goal is to get as many BLAKEMAN relatives and descendants together as possible. We would like to exchange family information and try to connect as many families as possible. Bring photos if you have them, as well as Bible records and family records. A copy machine will be available, for a small cost per copy. Early BLAKEMAN-BLEAKMAN-BLACKMAN settlers were Adam, Aaron and Moses. They had children who settled in Green and surrounding counties. We are also asking anyone who currently lives on "BLAKEMAN Land" to attend to help us pinpoint who lived where. Anyone who may have a cemetery on their land that has a BLAKEMAN buried there, is also welcome. This may be the one someone is looking for. If you need more information you may contact Martha Houk at 270-932-4950, or Ona Sidebottom at 270-932-4003. If you have access to email, you may contact Dixie McMillen at dtmc@bellsouth.net. We look forward to seeing you in Green Co!
