I managed a quick trip to the Jessamine County library a few days ago in search of obituaries. I particularly want to thank whoever compiled the index of obituaries 1887-1918 who saved me much time and effort. It's a tedious and eye-blurring task to put together such an index for years and years of poorly microfilmed journals, and I, for one, am incredibly grateful.
