Scott, The Obit index at the Withers Library was compiled by an employee of the library, Shirley Mulcahy, in her spare time.Indeed, we all owe her many thanks for her hard work. Some time ago, I started trying to add the actual obits, matching them, to the dates that she provided, but it has been a slow process, due to the fact that I am here in Topeka and only able to add more to the collection when I visit Nicholasville. I have recently been in touch with another employee of the library and we are trying to work out a way for me to have better access to those obits and getting more of them posted on the Jessamine Site.
