Since we have been on the subject of OneWorldTree, I want to mention another data base. Pedigree Resource File is like a new Ancestral File. In some ways, there are improvements. Ancestral File has been around so long that some of the submitters have died or moved away. Ped Resource File is new enough that the submitters are likely to be reachable. While Ancestral File combined information (that is, if 6 different people submitted the same family group, they were all combined), Ped Resource File keeps each person's submissions separate. There are some advantages to this. The index is free on the internet and contains lots of information. If you want family groups, though, you have to look at a disc. If you don't want to go to the library to see the disc, you can buy one for $1. I've made a couple of good contacts since recently starting to use this data base just a couple of weeks ago. Jean
Do you have a url for this resource?
