Clyde thanks for sharing Kentucky history with us. I was most interested in your mention of Benjamin Logan. While researching Elijah Baker, brother-in-law to my ancestor, Benjamin Martin of Jessamine Co., I found that Benjamin Logan & his wife, Ann, had sold Baker 100a on Bullskin. (B-1:196-198, Jan 1797.) Logan also sold land (B-1:41-43, 1796) on Bullskin to James McClure, whose family had inter-married with a daughter of Benjamin Martin. Elijah Baker had mar. Elizabeth McClure in Lincoln Co. Elizabeth was either a sister or daughter of this James McClure. Makes this come to life when you mention finding the cemetery and stating that Bullskin was a beautiful little creek. Thanks peggy b chapman "We found the cemetery. It sets high on a ridge overlooking a beautiful little creek called, Bullskin. It looked like many of the cemeteries our folks were working on."
