Morning All, Irene, It sound like you have every thing you have everything under control. You tell me when your all set up and ready to go and I will start sending some photos. Do you have a CD burner? I hope everyone joins in on this project. I have seen pictures of people standing in front of a covered wagons, on their way out west. I have seen pictures of people standing in front of straw and mud houses. I never knew who they were. It is my bet that you have some of the pictures and that you know who they are, and that some of those folks were born right here in Jessamine County. Vernon, Good to hear from you again. I remember you now. That was a great bunch of photos. Anna, I took a copy of the e-mail you posted down and gave it to Tom yesterday. He was delighted, and said he remembered you. He and Bonnie put me in the pickup and took me down and showed me where the old Sugar Creek Ferry crossed the river. Your right about one thing, that is sure a pretty place. I think if I were to camp there, it would be right there on the river bank. I ask Tom about renting the Sageser Cabin after it was finished. He seemed to be a bit reluctant, but that he had thought about it. He said he would half to be a bit selective to who he rented it too, he had put so much work into it. I told Tom that you all were not the type of folks that had wild parties. I don't lie to him, did I? Tom and I talked about having that Kentucky pig roast next year. Want to come? We can eat pig and talk history. We may be able to get those fellows back, that played for us on the Dixie Bell. You seem to enjoy them so much. I have that picture that was in the Jessamine Journal of you all on the Dixie Bell. If anyone would like to have a copy, I will make a attachment and send it to you. I think we will go a head and start planing our picnic for next year. We will try to set it at a time of year we can get the most people here. Shelia and some of you have worked so hard for the past two years. It took a lot of planning. I think it best we just keep it on the light side this coming year. Our doors here is open year around. The picnic is just a way of showing our appreciation. I still think we make a pretty good team. Thanks for you e-mail Mike and Tim. I got one up on you. I get to see them smile, when they tell me about what said in your e-mail. Bryce, as one school teacher to another, I bet Tim was delighted to hear from you.
