Hi. I'm searching for John Murphy in Jessamine county around 1816. He had a daughter named Elizabeth who married John Hackett in Jessamine County in 1816. The only thing I know about John is his name, no dates or anything. The info that was submitted earlier about Joseph Murphy made me think there was a possibility that Joseph and John are possibly brothers because the age of Sally (Joseph's daughter) and Elizabeth (John's daughter) is only a few years different. The tax records from Garrard county that were sent to the list earlier about John Murphy from 1797-1813 made me think that he could possibly be my John, that maybe my John lived originally in Garrard County and then later moved to Jessamine County to be there in 1816 (although I don't even know that is where Elizabeth and her family was from, but since they were married there, and John Hackett was from Fayetee county, it would make sense they got married in Elizabeth's town).
