    3. I wonder if anyone has had experience with having a genealogy chart commercially printed. I live in the Washington, DC, area and a local printer (Kinkos) quoted me a price of $15 per square foot plus a $10 set up fee. They can print up to 52 inches wide by as long as you want. Also, it would be printed in color. The chart would be printed from a file (that I would save on a disk). There is a 24 hour turn around time as the plotter makes copies slowly. By my calculation, a 2 by 3 foot chart would cost $100. Of course, I can print it out on my printer and tape all the pages together, but I would like to have a nice looking single sheet as I would like to give them as "thank yous" for family members who have helped me with my research. Is there a less expensive way of having charts printed? Carolyn Bowers

    3. I have a copy of Corel Family Tree which allows you to format your own tree and save it in plotter format (or print directly to a plotter). I checked at Kinkos here a couple of years ago and was told it would be $30 to $50 to have it printed out. Do you know anyone who works for a school district? I do and they have a Print Shop there where they teach the students how to do professional print jobs of all kinds. They told me they would print it for less than $10.
