Are there any Yarnall or Yarnell's on this list? My Grandmother, Lillie Yarnall Welte, two of her children who died young and her Mother, Martha Browning Yarnall, are buried in the Keene Cemetery. I haven't found a death record for my GGrandfather, James M. Yarnall yet. There are other related Yarnall/Yarnell's buried in the Keene cemetery. I would appreciate any information on the Yarnall families. I am Pat Hunt and I am researching the three names - Canter, Proctor and Carothers. The Proctor and Carothers line (Ezekiel Proctor md. Nancy Carothers) went to Lawrence County, IN circa 1820. Nancy was the daughter of James Carothers, Revolutionary War soldier. There are several Canter lines in Jessamine County. My line is Thomas Canter married to Julia Ann Browning. Would be happy to communicate with fellow researchers.
I am glad to see this list back up and running again Researching Winkle,Horton,Johnson,Houp,Butler Bill Russell ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jim Houpe" <jwhoupe@earthlink.net> To: <KYJESSAM-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, December 03, 2003 2:10 AM Subject: [KYJESSAMINE] Welcome > Hi All > I would like to welcome the new members to list and also the people who have been members of the list for quite sometime don't for get this is a good place to connect with folks that are rearching maybe the same lines that you are I hope that the list will get a little busier than it has been here lately. Hi Everyone just wanted to update you on the Jessamine website the past few days I have been working on tombstone transcription. What this is type written what is on the stone with actual photos this is a wonderful project the photos that have been submitted so far are from nancy Perry I can not thank her enough for this. The beauty of this project is there are alot of people who for whatever reason can not make it to Jessamine county to visit the graves and so on of their ancestors so this is a real nice way of bringing the cemetery to you. Listed below are the cemeteries that are online on the Jessamine website currently I am working on The reynold cemetery.
