    2. Morning All, Thank you for the information on John M. Sageser. The reason I ask, he is the one that lives in log cabin at the end of Sugar Creek Road, I told you about him a while back. I was back down there the other day. I looks like Tom will have it ready to live in by Spring. Some have e-mail and ask how to get the Kentucky River Guide. I only have a few left, but they yours until I run out. Just send me a self addressed envelope with two stamps. Did everyone who requested a guide get theirs? I want to thank you once again for all the nice comment we received on the guide. Maybe next year if some of you make it to Jessamine County, we can show you some of these sites. Most all the leaves are gone from the trees along the river now. The place seems to take on a hold new appearance in the winter. This is the only time of the year you can see the rock formations. They are truly beautiful, but their is something about them that is almost frighten. In my younger day I used to walk the high ridges along the river, in the winter and hunt caves. When to spring came I would go cave exploring. Clyde N. Bunch 211 Village Cir. Wilmore, KY 40390 ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO! 2. Morning All, First, let me thank you all for all the nice comments you sent me on the Kentucky River Guide. The folks that put that together well be very pleased. If you make to Jessamine County sometime, and get to go on the river, I am quite sure that little guide will give you a deeper understand of the Kentucky River. I was at a meeting yesterday down at High Bridge Park. I think it was George that came and told me that as he was coming out of Nicholasville, he seen our little Cemetery Committee out cleaning up the old Peter Nave Cemetery on KY #29. I am just like a child at Christmas, every time they clean one of these old cemeteries. I would almost bet, they will find Leonard Nave, the father of Peter Nave. I would love to be in a little better health, I would be right out their with them. Any time some of you want to get together, and clean up one of these old cemeteries, just let us know. It would be one of the most rewarding things to ever did in you life. Wouldn't this be a great project to do with you kids or maybe those grand-kids. I bet it would be something they would remenber. I used to be in sales (I bet you would have never guessed that) and travel through out the mountains of Eastern Kentucky. One of the first thing I noted, was how clean they keep their cemeteries. It not a bit unusual to drive down a back road and see a bunch of people out cleaning one. I remember one time, I was up in Clay County, trying to find the grave site of my grandfather's people. A woman took me to the little cemetery setting high on a ridge. I became very excited when I seen how clean it was, and taught some of my Baker family was still living in the area. I ask the woman, she said no, that all this family died out many years ago. My next question was, who clean it? She pointed to another small cemetery on a other ridge some distance away, and told me the people that cleaned that one cleaned the one were we stood. The folk up in the mountains, of Eastern Kentucky must get the same good feeling our people do, in cleaning these cementers. The only difference is, they been doing it along, and have never lost it. 1. [KYJESSAM] The Cemeteries and Howard
    2. Anna Ash
    3. Bryce, Howard is such a good guy. I had just called him this morning to thank him for sending me pictures of the Ferrell cem and the job that has been done there to restore it. Now who would have taken the time to send me pictures? I have a third great grandfather there and a good number of other ancestors. The cemetery is absolutely beautiful and I would be glad to share pictures with anyone that would like to see what a difference Jessamine Co. is making in these old run down and forgotton burying grounds. When I went to Kentucky in July I called Howard, well he came running and off we went to see some of the work that had been done in the Shelby cem and several others. We drove down to the ferry and as we drove he told me so much history and pointed out so many spots along the way that I just couldn't store it all quick enough. Howard is a good friend to all. I appreciate the hard work and dedication he has to the folks of Jessamine Co. who have passed on and the dedication to you and me that come there searching for them. Good to talk to you Bryce, yeah, I wish there were more Howard's around. Talk later Anna
