Hi, I'm LDS but, haven't worked in the Library for about 15 years. Would you, please, clarify for me what you mean by: "which means, I believe, that the church members then have the option of uploading all of that info onto their website." 15 years ago it just meant that the film would stay in that FHC for forever. Is there something new regarding the reference to "uploading all that info onto their website", what website? Again, I haven't been there since the computers were installed. I'm just curious, not testing you, just don't understand which "website" is meant? Regarding LDS not knowing about some of the things you do...simple answer for some of us...we are computer idiots...well, newbies...and turning the pc itself on is sometimes intimidating lol. Most of us are "called" by local Church authorities to do the Library work and some of the librarians are "newbies" to both genealogy and computers; or old ones like myself who have just taught ourselves pc ... and are always in a state of learning something new. We need people like yourself to give us the benefit of your pc experience. Since you know alot...your expertise could be used as a volunteer at your local FHC. Many of the volunteers are not members of the Church and about 98% of the people who use our Libraries are non members ... we need you guys!!! Please, keep educating us, seriously, we do appreciate your knowledge, Debbie! Question on the film which you have, does it also contain Louisville, Jefferson Co., Catholic Cemetery Records. Just curious. My grandpa's family is buried there and this Mormon convert is always perking up her ears to see what is available on computer. Pcs make it so much easier than all the mailings which were done to the Louisville Cemeteries so many years ago. I do have most or all of my STANTON / STAUNTON RUDDY / ROODY (RAIDY?) and WIGGINS info but am looking for GRASS info (which may actually be in IN.) That's one of the great reasons for these Rootswebs sites. The other, in my opinion, is to meet some of the nicest people!
