    3. Debbie, Perhaps there was an annulment. Search Court Orders in Jefferson Co. and in Indiana. " An annulment is a court order that declares the marriage void. That means that the marriage is considered to have never existed. The marriage is not automatically void but requires a District Court declaring it so." She had someone state on the bond (don't know who he is) that she was of lawful age to marry, he also is the one that paid for the bond. YET, in every census, starting after the marriage, she is found under her maiden name and always listed as single? This is starting in 1900. She was Catholic, but it appears she did not marry in a Catholic church, as I've driven the Clark Co., IN list a little nutty trying to pursue A church, ANY church. > > Suggestions anyone? > Debbie > > > ==== KYJEFFER Mailing List ==== > The Jefferson County, Kentucky History and Genealogy page is proud to be a part of the KyGenWeb and the USGenWeb Projects, both of which are not-for-profit endeavors.
