Thanks for responding Sherrie, but I think I'm at a dead end here. There were several George's in Louisville. This one was born around 1801 and he was married to Katherine Weadman. She remarried in 1857 and George does not appear in any census records after 1850. Everyone though he had died in the 1850's but his grave was found in St. Michaels with a death date in 1891 age 82. I'm assuming he died in Jefferson County but not 100%. I did receive the following response from Wayne on this board: "I looked 7 days after the death day and was not able to find anything. Lots of time there were no obits but only death notices. I could not find a death notice either." I think I'll have contact the county to see what they have. I'm looking for his parents.
