    2. In response to Inquiry's about Cave Hill Cem. in Louisville, KY, it is now common knowledge that TWO of the largest Cemeteries in Commonwealth of KY do not have an Internet search site for persons buried. These are not cash poor operating cemeteries but have neglected participation in databases for the Public to search. These are: CAVE HILL Cemetery - Louisville, KY and "The Lexington Cemetery" at 833 Main St., in Lexington, KY. The Veterans Administration does maintain a web site for an area designated US National Cemetery. Cave Hill and The Lexington Cemetery are both historic and two of the most beautiful burial grounds in all of Kentucky, yet do not maintain databases for the Public to access by Internet. Some of the best known web sites on KY burials that persons should maintain on their home computers are listed below. There are others, where individuals care enough to maintain such data. In submitting the following I do not own or maintain any of these web sites. Hopefully one day "Cave Hill" and "The Lexington Cemetery" will join the Internet. I do have relatives in both cemeteries and the Leslie County cemeteries below: JOHN in CA > FAVORITES LOCATIONS for searches: > http://www.dagonbytes.com/graveyards/listings/statepage/kentucky/kentucky.htm > http://vitals.rootsweb.com/ky/death/search.cgi > http://ukcc.uky.edu/~vitalrec/ > http://archiver.rootsweb.com/KY-DAR-L/ > http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jhail/pulaski_cemeteries.html > http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/ussearch.htm > http://www.usgennet.org/usa/ky/county/lee/LeeCoCem/begcec.html > http://www.rootsweb.com/~kyleslie/Lewis_Chappell.html > http://rpennington.topcities.com/Cemeteries/leslie_county_cemeteries.html > http://www.kygenweb.net/ > http://www.interment.net/data/us/ky/knox/barbourville/ > http://www.wwiimemorial.com/ > >

    3. Cave Hill does have an online burial database? It just so happens though, this morning the database is not working. I've already called to inform them there is a problem. 3. The site for the Lexington Cemetery is http://www.lexcem.org/ Just click on Genealogy and scroll to the bottom of the page for the search engine. The site for Cave Hill is http://www.cavehillcemetery.com/ Both have excellent databases.
