I am hoping to connect with others working on this line: William Norton who died Setptember 26,1901 at 76 years of age. He was the senior member of the firm of WILLIAM NORTON & SONS, grocers. This was a grocery and feed store located at Ninth and Broadway. MARIE SAUNDERS NORTON and 8 children survived him. Five of the eight children lived in Louisville. They are: James Norton (school trustee from the Fifth District), W.J. Norton, A.J. Norton, Dr. F.B. Norton and Miss Mary Norton. Another son, J.J. Norton, lived in Nashville. The two other daughters were Mrs. J. F. Howley of Pittsburg and Mrs. J. W. Murphy of Chicago. Peggy N.
