hi teddy and list, just dug this out of my archives...here's what i have for the Salyers children. Logan and Margaret Clark SALYERS children: Egbert Salyers born April 1893, Roy Salyers born Aug. 1894 and Hazel Salyers was listed in 1910 miracode census as an "inmate" under the supervision of a Thomas Adams (supervisor). Hazel was 8 years old at the time, born ca. 1902. There are a total of 219 children under Adams & his wife, none of which were born to him. this was in listed in Louisville, KY, Jefferson Co. and, "we" thot that they were all placed in orphanage after 1902. (that is the death date i have for my GAunt, Margaret Clark Salyers.) but then, i found a 1907 news clip from Laurel Co. that had Hazel Salyers mentioned with her "parents" as visiting the Mart Hicks family. Margaret's death is deff 1902, so i don't know if Logan remarried after she died and this reference is for Hazel's step-mother or if Maragret's death was 1907 or what! (it's all so confusing!!!)
