For those on list who live in the Louisville area or will be visiting soon, the Louisville Genealogical Society is sponsoring a Family History Fair and Seminar on Saturday, 21 September, at Westport Road Baptist Church Family Life Center (Westport Road & Hurstbourne Prkway). Doors open at 8:30. Nationally known speaker, Patricia Hatcher, will present three lectures for intermediate and advanced researchers. 9 free classes for beginners will also be offered: Census, court records, cemetery, internet genealogy, Irish/Scots-Irish research, etc. are some of the topics. Admission is $5.00. Representatives from local libraries, historical societies and archives will have information tables in the vendor area.
