I have done some minor updates and additions to the Jefferson Co. page recently. Since so many people seem to miss that Louisville is part of Jefferson county (not sure how!), I have renemed it the "Louisville and Jefferson County History and Genealogy Page". There have been links added to the 1873 and 1917 maps of Louisville as well as the Jefferson County general highway map from 1999. And also some other map links to cool stuff. I just finished transcribing a newspaper article about Bloody Monday (August 6, 1855, election riots). You think Florida is bad (well, Florida is bad...), then read this! And best of all, I am testing a couple of search engines on the site to see which does a better job, so there is both a Picosearch and a Freefind on there right now (might add Atomz too if I have time to work on it). I'll cut it back to 1 at a later date. Please keep in mind that building the search engines up may take a couple of days. Patrick
