    3. In tracing my Schardein line back into Jefferson County, I learned about the Schardein cemetary on 7th street, and that in the census records from 1840 through 1880 there was reference to the place of the census where my Schardein (Schardin) relatives lived, being Schardine Kentucky in Jefferson County. I wonder if anyone might have any knowledge of where this was located relative to Louisville--and possibly if the township (census place) may have been named after my relatives--and whether the cemetary may have been located in the area of what was referred to as Schardine Kentucky back in the 1840-1880 period.
