Dear Listers, Barb T pointed out that the outhouses I mentioned previously in the Highlands of Louisville, may have been for the servants while indoor plumbing was for the families living in the houses. I replied, feeling somewhat like an idiot, I forgot about the servant issue. It was active when I was a kid. The movie, "Driving Miss Daisy" brought back all kinds of memories. Boy, am I glad that nonsense is past most of us! Tom
