I know the Arterburn family owned land near Dorsey Lane, the Hite family owned land on the Anchorage side, the Womack family owned land where Douglas Hills is now located and Alpha Tarbel owned land closer to Middletown on the north side of Shelbyville Road. George Whipps had a mill near the Dorsey-Lawrence Cemetery and the Ormsby family owned land nearby as well. Cheers, Laura
