I know I was very young when we lived at Bowman Field. and we moved to CA in 1961. We used to watch the men working on something over the fence from Gate 1. I guess no one else is doing genealogy from that area. Time seems to really fly by doesn't it. I do have pictures of the old place, and people I can't even remember their names. -- Teddy List Mom for the Grayson Co Ky List, Brady, Vertrees, Ford, Fulkerson, and Commonwealth http://www.kygenweb.net/pd-res/deford.html -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Barb Temple" <keenebj@insightbb.com> > Dear Tom, > Thanks for the info. Teddy: I am doing genealogy and I am in the Highlands. I don't remember going to Bowman Field until the mid 60's. I had a friend that lived on Winston which is close to the airport. One of my fun memories was going to get a slushie and sitting there watching the airplanes come in.I went to Assumption, we would go after school- it was much better than homework.
