    1. [KYJEFFER] Plainview Dairy memories
    2. Hi all... Being a first grader at George Rogers Clark Elementary School in 1952 has been forever frozen in my mind. We went on a field trip, which seemed FOREVER to the country lane called Hurstbourne LANE. We saw a farm and cows which I thought was pretty boring. When we got back to school, the next day we made butter with a hand churn. I'll never forget the amazing transformation of cream to butter. Miss Fegenbush was the teacher. Plainview Dairy owners were also the owners of the famous Saddlebred "Plainview's Julia!" Cheers, Laura
