    3. Hi, Was your grandfather Baptist? I searched the web and narrowed down possibilities. There was Baptist organizations all over the country called Baptist Young Men's Class. If he was Baptist, I would suggest you check with a local Baptist Minister and see what they know. I'm not guaranteeing that it is right, but only a possibility. Hope this helps Sincerely, Pat ----- Original Message ----- From: "john bernhardt" <jbernhardt@houston.rr.com> To: <KYJEFFER-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, November 02, 2002 3:39 PM Subject: [KYJEFFER] What is BYMC? > I have seen a 1912 professional photograph composed in Louisville of about 20 young men---including my grandfather and the picture has BYMC in large letters at the top. The picture has individual photographs of the 20 young men who all appear to be about the same age--my grandfather was 21 years old in 1912. Under each individual person's photo is their name--and any office they hold---eg, treasurer, vice president etc. Anyone know what BYMC stands for---or anything about this organization? > > Thank you, > > John > jbernhardt@houston.rr.com > > > ==== KYJEFFER Mailing List ==== > http://www.usgenweb.org > Home of the oldest and largest volunteer not-for-profit genealogy organization on the web. > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > >
