Thanks all for reading this. I am looking for a birth record. My greatgrandmother Mary Elizabeth Byerly born July 29,1891/ Louisville/Kentucky. Daughter of Charles Byerly & Florence Matthews. I sent to Kentucky archives 2 months ago with no response. I know the county records are not constantly recorded in each county. Does anyone know of any library or archival center that keeps consistant records? I would appreciate any look-up help.I thought this would be easier as she comes from a family of 10 children. Pat, Here are years of recorded births for Louisville and Jefferson County. They are very incomplete, i.e. many births missing. 1852; 1854 through 1859; 1900 through 1906; 1908, 1909. The Louisville "Register of Births" doesn't begin until 1898.
