    3. Hi, I am searching for the possible gravesite of a "lost" brother of my gr gr grandmother. Georg Friederich Wintermantel, and possibly an older brother, came to the US on or before 1847. The parents and other siblings came later, and settled in WI. But Friederich is reported to have died in Louisville KY in 1847, according to an old family letter. I suspect that Friederich probably does not have a gravestone and is buried near Louisville. Are there cemetary lists of Louisville cemetaries that would include those graves that are unmarked? How might I access any Louisville cemetary lists? Thanks, Julie Schmiedlin Edwards

    3. Someone had this posted on the web: The farthest into history that I know my Wintermantels is Jacob, b. 1799 in Baden, Germany, who came to US in 1856. I don't know his parents or if he had siblings. He married Salome Walter. Their children: Frederich (Louisville KY), Salome, John Jacob, George Frederich, Anna Maria, George Jacob, John George, William, Rosina, and Christian. I am sorry that I can't connect with your Carl or Mathias.
