Thank you for the info on the Miller & Son Funeral home. It was disappointing to hear about the records being burned. But now I won't be trying to locate them anywhere. I have heard about that Heintzman Bakery. In that same directory there is a listing showing that Charles even worked with a Robert Heinzelman. Then I found a census listing, 1900 I believe, for a Robert who was a resident of the insane asylum there in Jefferson County. I don't know what the connection is between Elizabeth and Robert. The puzzle is trying to piece all this together. What I need to do is write to the bakery and ask about it's beginning. I wonder if the chamber of commerce in Louisville would know anything about that. Thanks for the reply.
