Charlie, According to Roseann Reinemuth Hogan's "Kentucky Ancestry: A Guide to Genealogical and Historical Research," the Ardery Collection contains genealogical material on related families from Bourbon County and the counties surrounding Bourbon. Paris, KY is the county seat of Bourbon. Another large genealogical collection is the Barton Collection which covers Pendleton and northern (eastern) Kentucky counties. The Special Collections library at the University of Kentucky has a card index for the Barton Collection.
