Diane, when I suggested that ALL Jefferson Co. marriages may not be on the CD, I did not mean to imply that the CD wasn't a worthwhile resource. I just think we need to be aware that just because the marriage wasn't on the CD didn't mean it wasn't in the orginal records for Jefferson County. There are a tremendous number of early records for Jefferson County available, but just not as easily accessable, unfortunately, like a CD or on-line.
