To Deborah and Janis: Thanks for the info about the Louisville Free Public Library doing obit lookups for $10.00 each and the information about how many papers there were/are and that not everyone was even noted. I can't imagine having to look through the entire paper for a two line mention. Ten dollars a search is a bit steep for me. I am looking for 8 names.
