Thanks Debbie, I know about that Joseph Huber but don't know his connection to mine. In the 1850 census my Joseph Huber was spelled Joseph HOOVER . From 1860 until 1880 it was given as Joseph Huber, he died in 1888. I have the original framed tin type picture made in 1884 of all the Huber men sitting in front of the house but can only identify 5 persons in it. I would be happy to share that picture with other Huber descendants. The house still looked the same a few years ago when I visited it. After Joseph's death his widow and girls moved to the 700 block of Walnut street in Louisville, the son Andrew and his family lived on the farm. I have a much information on my Hubers, I have been researching them for several years. Unfortunately I have no one to share it with that is why I am hoping to find some distant cousins. My mother was the youngest of 10 children so I suppose most of my first cousins have passed on. Again Debbie thank you for writing me. Elisabeth Elisabeth W. Salyer elws@mounet.com
