    1. [KYJEFFER] Locating Obits

    3. Hi, I've had some success writing to the local public library where the person died requesting a look-up for the obituary. Locating a website for the library through a search on google might bring up an email and snail mail address or other contact information. When they answer the email, they will tell you their policy, fee, if any, etc for dealing with these requests. I've included all the info and my address and phone# and ask them to include a bill with the obituary if there is a fee for the service. Also if you go to www.raogk.org, follow the prompts to pinpoint your state/county of interest and you'll find a few volunteers who will do a search for you. These are wonderful people. Good hunting.
