<PRE>Bauer's had 2 locations in Louisville area. The oldest I believe was torn down in the late 1960s early 70's was located at Taylorsville Road and present day Hikes Lane in the McMahan Center area of town. The other was located on Brownsboro Road near Indian Hills area of Louisville. Believe this location remained active quite a time after the Taylorsville Road location. Information on both should be attainable from the Louisville Free Public Library or the Filson Club. The Bauer's on Taylorsville Road was quite a well known landmark. Hope this helps some. Glenn.
