    2. Can someone please tell me how to go about finding out about an ancestor that came over from Germany? I haven't had to do this before and don't know where to start. All I know is he came over from Germany (where I don't know) in 1884, according to census records. I also don't know where he came in at. Any starting point would be a great help. Thanks! Pam

    3. Hi Pam, there are several possibilities. First of all you can post me the name and I will see, what I can do for you. There are a few databases for German researcher's where I can look. I have also about 900 emigrants on my website and about 1000 in my database. If you are lucky, you will find him. Much easier would be, if you have at least the state, where he came from. Kind regards, Ruediger ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please check out my emigration website: http://home.nexgo.de/r.kemmler -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: Grinch3457@aol.com [mailto:Grinch3457@aol.com] Gesendet am: Mittwoch, 30.
