I thought I may try this one more time, as I am new to the list. I am seeking direction on finding a marriage record in this county 180-1881. Does this have to be done through Frankfort or can on go or write to the Jefferson County Court House requesting this is can be done in Hamilton County, Ohio. Hoping for some direction. Karen, You can write to the Jefferson County Courthouse. Give them, as best you can, the bride and groom's names and a year. The address for the courthouse is: Jefferson County Clerk 527 W. Jefferson St., Rm 100 Louisville, KY 40202 Their phone number is: (502) 574-5680 I think it's $5.00 a copy, but I can't remember. I've gotten one record from them. They were rather quick in their reply.
