For $10 you can spend the whole day getting almost any Jefferson County records you could ever need! You can also look at death certificates 1911 to 1950 or so on microfilm instead of paying for them through Frankfort. > www.filsonhistorical.com > > > ==== KYJEFFER Mailing List ==== > http://www.alhn.org and http://www.ahgp.org > Go here for additional American History resources. > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237 > > ==== KYJEFFER Mailing List ==== Submit your information to the Jefferson Co., KY History and Genelaogy project. RootsWeb has a San Francisco list - don't know anything else about it though. The list maintains this web page with lots of good links - you can find the list info on the page. http://www.cagenweb.com/sanfrancisco/sfrancty.htm Julie When I searched for ancestors, I found friends! --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? According to the 1886 Louisville directory, my gg-grandfather, Henry Charles BAUER was a saloon keeper. His wife, Mrs. Caroline Bauer, is listed as living at 829 E Main. Was there a saloon at or near this address? Thanks for any help you can give me. Julie When I searched for ancestors, I found friends! --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? Y!
