What is the Surname's you are looking for? I can look for them in the census records if the names is not too common. Jefferson Co does have microfilm that has the births marriages and deaths for 1852, 1854-1859 then 1900-1906 then 1908 and 1909 it then says available Births from 1898 to 1910. Has someone made a book for this? this microfilm is sold at the KY Archives in Frankfort. The last I heard it was $18.00 for the microfilm. You just have to be close to a microfilm reader. -- Teddy List Mom for the Grayson Co Ky List, Brady, Vertrees, Ford, Fulkerson, and Commonwealth http://www.kygenweb.net/pd-res/deford.html -------------- Original message -------------- > I'm searching for the parents names of two brothers that immigrated to > Louisville. Thanks for offering Teddy but the surnames won't help (It's NOLD by the way). They both came to the US in the 1840's without their parents - mom and dad remained in Germany. (no sign of them in LDS' familysearch either). Someone else suggested that church records may have some info. I know the date and place for one of them - George Nold m. Katherine Weadman 11/24/1845 at St. Paul's Evang. I hadn't thought about church records but have absolutely no idea how to even go about that. Can anyone guide me? (I live in Florida but could probably recruit a family member). Thanks Bob --- [email protected] wrote: > What is the Surname's you are looking for?
