Some records of marriages and deaths for Louisville and Jefferson County are kept in the Jefferson County Archives located at 810 Barret Ave. I have been successful in finding several marriage and death records from the late 1800's. The personnel there are very helpful. Hope this helps someone looking for information from this time period. The only charge is for copies that you make.
