    2. George is mentioned in the Cave Hill Cemetery book on page 26. Here is what the paragraph says: George Washington Norton (1815-1889), established the Southern Bank in his native Russelville then moved to Louisville in 1866, starting the banking house that bore his name and investing in western land. He supported the Baptist Theological Seminary, and was considered the richest man in Kentucky when he died. Section P, lots 188-189. Listed also as being on the Board of Directors of Cave Hill Investment Company are George W. Norton 1910-1924. He is also on the Board of Managers of Cave Hill Cemetery Company 1902-1924. George W. Norton, Jr. is listed on the directors board from 1948-1964 and the managers board from 1902-1924. I don't know if these two might be possible descendants. Penny

    3. Dear Listers, Having been born in Norton, the Episcopal Hospital of Louisville, I wonder if that Norton was the same Norton as the one who supported the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
