The Louisville Genealogical Society has been publishing the Jefferson county Births in their quarterly publication, Lines and By-Lines. Betty R. Darnell has been transcribing the records from microfilm and the society publishes a few pages in each issue. In 2000, Betty published "Jefferson County, Kentucky, Births, 1852-1860, Vol. 1" She has done a fantastic job and is a careful, thorough compiler of records. Her book can be ordered from: Betty R. Darnell, 204 Hartford Drive, Mt. Washington, KY 40047.
