Dear Listers, Thanks to the help of some of you on the List, I found Charles A. Fisk/Fiske in 1880. He was in the sixth ward in Louisville. Probably he was there in 1870, but he showed up on no census for any state. Maybe he and his family were on his riverboat the day the census was taken. He was a steamboat pilot on the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers in those days. But, he might have been in an 1870 city directory, or a directory between 1867 and 1875. Does anyone have a copy of an old Louisville Directory that appeared during the years 1867 and 1875 who would be willing to look for Charles A. Fisk/Fiske? He was 41 in 1870 and his wife's name was Rose or Rosanna. Thanks Tom the bewildered
