Hello Helpers, I am confused about something. I live out of town so I can't get to the main library in Louisville. So, a couple of months ago I was working with a potential relative to look up some death certificates on Microfilm. Turns out she is not related so I didn't want to bother her again. Anyway, I would give her the death cert references from the index and she would look them up and send me the info on them via email. I thought I might get the free "ask-the-librarian" service to give me some of their free 30 minute time to look one up, but they responded that they do not have them, they only have the death index and I would need to contact the Vital Records dept to get the info that's on the certificate.
