    1. Thompson Family Cem in Jefferson County,KY
    2. THOMPSON CEM. Located on Brownsboro Road east of Mockingbird Valley Road, on the left side of road, but west of Chenoweth Lane. Source: _http://www.rootsweb.com/~kyjeffer/cems/thompsongraveyard.html_ (http://www.rootsweb.com/~kyjeffer/cems/thompsongraveyard.html) It appears from the listings this Cem. was last used in year 1907, One Hundred years ago. The persons who found and donated this listing should be congratulated. When County Government employees and researchers could not find such information in their old journals or on microfilms, this is a great asset now available to genealogists in 2006. Great work for posting this valuable information to genealogy. JOHN in CA (former Louisville Resident)

    3. Hello fellow listers :-) I'm sure there are persons on the list that will be able to advise me on my question. I am getting ready to order some Civil war records on a relative. This relative died while serving and was not married. Should I also look for a pension record even though he wasn't married? I was told that it may of been possible that his father would of applied for the pension. Thanks! Debbie
