Thanks, Virginia. I like to have my records complete with the children. Samuel and Elizabeth are buried in Chenoweth Run Cemetery and he has a long and honorable military record. With all this memory flogging going on, I'll try an obscure question. My mother told me that her uncle-by-marriage, Joe W. Rogers, worked "for a piano factory" in Louisville - this would have been during the late 20's or early 30's. In 1917 he lived at 3226 Greenwood in Louisville, and was a cabinetmaker for the "Adler Manufacturing Company", if I've deciphered his WWI draft info correctly. Later census records were less specific about his occupation. Does anyone know what Adler manufactured? Was there a piano factory in/near Louisville in the 20's and 30's? Is there a "Restheaven" Memorial Park in/near Louisville, or is that a typo for "Resthaven"? Thanks. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Paulina My Johnson clan begins with Michael and Julia Johnson whom had James and Meredith Johnson (twins). James Johnson (1826-1873) is my GG-Grandfather, whom married Charlotte Seibert. They had 11 known children: Charles, Joseph, Emma, Julia, Sarah, Belle, Amy, Rosa, Meredith, Katie (My line), & John Q. I thought perhaps your Johnson descended from one of these male Johnson's or perhaps it could be your Johnson is an (unknown to me) sibling of my James & Meredith. None of the names you mention, unfortunately am I familiar with. Any clues? Our Johnson's were connected with Beulah Presby, Johnson School Road, etc. The Guthries were in our line too. Also the Burkhardts, Gans, Kinders, Blairs, and on and on. George Johnson married Eleanor Guthrie and they moved to Indiana (I think) and there are a lot of Johnson's there from that line. Camp Point rings a bell. I am not near my info at the moment but if any of this rings a bell I will go get it and send what I have. Paulina
